1. Getting Started

Install the app

1Install Jolly Bundles from the Shopify App Store. You'll be redirected to your Shopify admin after installation.
2Open the app from your Shopify admin sidebar. The three-step setup guide will help you create a bundle, enable the storefront widget, and preview the customer experience.
3Follow the setup guide's Enable widget action to open the theme editor, turn on the Jolly Bundles app embed, and save your theme.

Enable the storefront widget

The theme app embed allows bundle offers to appear on your storefront. To enable it:

  1. Open Onboarding and select Enable widget.
  2. In the theme editor, open Theme settings → App embeds.
  3. Turn on the Jolly Bundles app embed.
  4. Save the theme, return to the app, and recheck your setup progress.

Once enabled, any published bundle that includes that product will automatically appear on the product page — no further theme edits needed.

2. Bundle Types

Jolly Bundles supports five bundle types, each powered by Shopify's native APIs. Choose the type that best fits your offer when creating a new bundle.

Complete Bundle

Group specific products into one offer with a fixed price or percentage discount. Great for curated gift sets and starter packs.

Quantity Breaks

Reward shoppers who buy more of the same product with tiered quantity pricing that applies automatically.

Buy X Get Y

Incentivise larger carts by giving shoppers a free or discounted item when they meet a spend or quantity threshold.

Mix & Match

Let shoppers build their own bundle by choosing products from your catalog. Powered by Shopify's Cart Transform API.

Progressive Gifts

Unlock free gifts as customers add more to their cart — a powerful spend incentive that feels like a reward.

3. Creating a Bundle

1Go to Bundles. Select Create bundle to start from scratch, or select Browse templates for a visual gallery of five guided starting points.
2In the template gallery, compare offer types and plan availability, then choose Use this template. You can also create a blank offer with Create from scratch.
3Use the live preview panel on the right to see exactly how the bundle will look to shoppers before publishing.
4Click Publish to make the bundle live. It will immediately appear on the relevant product pages.

The Bundles page shows five offers per page with counted status tabs. You can publish, unpublish, view, edit, analyse, or remove offers from the list. Published offers appear on relevant product pages when the storefront app embed is enabled.

4. Analytics

Jolly Bundles tracks bundle performance automatically. No setup required — data starts flowing as soon as your first bundle is published.

What's tracked

  • Impressions — how many times a bundle widget was viewed on your storefront
  • Add-to-carts — how many times a shopper added a bundle to their cart
  • Orders — orders attributed to each bundle via Shopify order webhooks
  • Revenue — total revenue attributed to each bundle

Privacy

Analytics events contain no personal customer data — no names, emails, or IP addresses are collected. Only the bundle ID and event type are recorded. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Plans & Billing

Available plans

  • Free — Create and preview bundle offers before publishing.
  • Nectar ($15/mo) — Publish volume discounts and BXGY offers.
  • Hive ($39/mo) — Unlock every bundle template and market targeting.
  • Queen ($79/mo) — Remove limits and receive priority support.

Save 20% with annual billing. Any available trial and billing terms are shown before approval on Shopify's hosted pricing page.

Upgrading or changing your plan

Go to Plans in the app sidebar and click Manage plan. You'll be taken to the Shopify billing page where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans page. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Does Jolly Bundles work with all Shopify themes?

Yes. Jolly Bundles uses a Theme App Extension, which integrates with any Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme without modifying your theme code.

Will bundles work at Shopify checkout?

Yes. Complete Bundles use Shopify's native Bundle API, and Mix & Match bundles use the Cart Transform API. Both are fully supported at checkout.

Can I preview a bundle before publishing?

Yes. The bundle editor includes a live preview panel so you can see exactly how your bundle will look on the storefront before going live.

How does the free plan work?

The Free plan lets you create and preview all bundle types. You need a paid plan (Nectar or higher) to publish bundles to your live storefront.

Can I target bundles to specific markets?

Yes. Hive and Queen plans support per-market bundle targeting so you can show different bundles to shoppers in different countries.

What happens to my bundles if I uninstall?

Bundle data is retained for 30 days after uninstall so you can reinstall and pick up where you left off. After 30 days all data is permanently deleted.
